Set on the crest of a hill, just outside Hillcrest, Shenindor is a lovely country B&B on 4 acres, with a breathtaking view across the Assagay Valley. A beautiful indigenous garden, with its abundance of birdlife surrounds the home, creating a peaceful country atmosphere.
The double-storey house has a large comfortable lounge with open fireplace, dining room, large patio & outdoor entertainment area. The luxury suite and family suite are located upstairs and there is a self contained cottage in the garden next to the pool, as well as a 2 bedroom Self Catering Unit. No country home is complete without the animals; expect a warm welcome & lots of love from the Labradors!
This spacious double bedroom with queen bed, opens onto a large private balcony offering a panoramic view across the valley. The en-suite bathroom has a separate shower & spa bath.

There are two separate bedrooms, (a single & a double), plus bathroom with bath and overhead shower and a separate toilet.
Self Catering Garden Cottage
Opening onto the garden, the cottage has an open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area, one bedroom with queen bed and bathroom with bath & overhead shower. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge for children.
Self Catering Suite
Two spacious bedrooms, (King or Single beds) both with en-suite bathrooms with showers, a lounge, kitchen & large balcony with a stunning view across the valley. There is a sleeper couch in the lounge for children. There is plenty of safe parking, braai facilities & a heated pool.
Shenindor is conveniently situated for easy access onto the N3 to Durban or Pietermaritzburg, with Hillcrest a short drive away. Situated close to the Valley of 1000 Hills, there is a wide variety of Zulu cultural activities, curio shops, scenic drives & nature reserves to be enjoyed in the area, plus tours into the valley, snake & crocodile parks and animal farms.
Hillcrest offers a good selection of top class restaurants & pubs, as well as exciting shopping opportunities! Both Inanda & Shongweni Dams & Nature Reserves are within easy reach offering fishing, canoeing, and birding, horse riding and hiking with the opportunity of seeing a variety of game. Abseiling, microlight flights and paragliding can be enjoyed at various locations or a round of golf at Camelot, Kloof or Augusta.
Within one to three hours drive one can experience the majestic mountains of the Drakensburg Range, the Kwazulu Natal countryside on the Midlands Meander, the “big five” at the Zululand Game Parks or the warm waters of the Indian Ocean and South Africa’s beautiful coastline!
