Shelldon

Durban's reputation for being the best holiday destination is well deserved, there's always something to do from splashing about in the ocean to exploring cultural and wildlife sites. We asked Shelldon from Country and Coastal Touring to chat to us about what tours he will have running during December 2020.

The first week our national lock-down is almost over, just 2 more weeks to go (hopefully). Shelldon from Country and Coastal Touring had some ideas on what you can do to promote your tourism business over the remaining two weeks of lock-down.

The current covid-19 pandemic has struck tourism a terrible blow but all is not lost. Tristan Dickerson, the chairperson of the 1000 Hills CTO has something to say about the situation.

We at 1000 Hills CTO collect statistics so that you, our members can do the same.

The 1st committee meeting of 2020 is done and dusted, and it's clear that the committee has a lot to achieve in this year. From upcoming events, networking session to the creation of a new map to better represent the 1000 Hills area, we have a lot to do but as is normal, very little time in which to do it!

The 1000 Hills CTO is constantly looking at ways in which to reach out to potential tourists both locally and around the world. One of the easiest and hands down, the most cost effective, is Google Ads. Throughout December we ran a limited campaign, and here's why you need to know about it.

Throughout the year visitors check out the 1000 Hills website and thanks to the magic of Google, we can see exactly what is so popular on the 1000 Hills CTO website. Why is this important you may ask? Well, website statistics give us a great overview on what visitors to the website are actually thinking. Want to know more? Then read on.
