Visiting Durban And Looking For Things To Do? Here's What Country and Coastal Touring Suggest

Durban's reputation for being the best holiday destination is well deserved, there's always something to do from splashing about in the ocean to exploring cultural and wildlife sites. We asked Shelldon from Country and Coastal Touring to chat to us about what tours he will have running during December 2020.

Hi all. December is well on it's way and based on Durban Tourism's plan on rebooting tourism to Durban, I think we could have a bumper year as local and national tourists seek to shrug off the pandemic blues by traveling through to Durban. There's no better city in South Africa to enjoy the sunshine, the beach, the culture and wildlife experiences that makes Durban a destination of choice! Many visitors to Durban will definitely want to explore a bit of their surroundings, so I will be adding a few new tours to our line up specifically geared towards local visitors.

There are loads of benefits to booking a tour through a tour company like Country and Coastal Touring instead of driving you and your family around.

  • No worrying about having a glass of wine of a beer along the way. With the new laws being introduced, being driven about will definitely be safer for you and easier on your pocket if you decide to enjoy a wet lunch.
  • There's a great deal of history about Durban that you'll learn if you travel on one of our tours - all our guides are qualified and will make your trip far more interesting than if you just drove yourself.
  • No more getting lost and it's safer. It's a lot easier to let your guide worry about getting from place to place rather than you having to rely on your own map reading skills!
  • Your guides also have great local knowledge so if you want to know about the hottest restaurants or the best place to get a "bunny chow", your guides will be able to help.

Here's the tours we're offering at discounted rates in December
